Miami Spice Mash-Up

  • The Miami Spice Restaurant Program is kicking off its indulgent series, now in its 16th year, that calls on some of the city’s most notable chefs. The first installment will include a three-course family-style meal, featuring selections from chefs Raul Del Pozo of Lightkeepers, Nicolas Mazier of TATEL and Paula DaSilva of Artisan Beach House, the new oceanfront property at The Ritz-Carlton, Bal Harbour (where the event will be held). Sip complimentary drinks from Chandon California, Stella Artois, Terrazas de los Andes and FIJI Water.

Coral Springs Museum of Art reception

  • The museum is celebrating 20 years with a collection of more than 125 pieces, including some by Keith Haring, Hunt Slonem, Romero Britto, Andres Desjardin and Pablo Cano. Browse the exhibit, which debuted in June and will run through August, with light refreshments in hand.

Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens anniversary celebration

  • In addition to its new exhibit, the museum is celebrating its 40th anniversary with #MORITURNSFORTY, a day of activities and special pricings. Visitors are encouraged to contribute to the time capsule by sharing their favorite memories. There will also be a musical performance at 3 p.m. Specials: Two limited-time sushi rolls and an appetizer in the Cornell Cafe; 10 percent off purchases in the museum store (members get 20 percent off); commemorative T-shirts and tote bags; receive a Morikami ornament when you spend $40.
  • When: 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

Bank of America Fiesta! Fort Lauderdale

Dixieland & Traditional Jazz

  • The Hot Jazz & Alligator Gumbo Society is hosting a jazz session. Food and drinks will be available.
