Fashion

MOB Worldwide Fashion pop-up

• MOB, or “Money Over Boys,” is a new fashion line that launched to encourage female independence and strength. It will set up a pop-up shop at OTL (pictured above), a cozy coffee shop in Miami’s Design District, in its upstairs event space. Most pieces are unisex and one-size-fits-all, and there will be some sweet deals: half-off cocktails and 20 percent off merchandise.

Las Olas Art Fair

• Ranked as one of the top 100 art festivals in the nation, the annual festival features more than 150 artists displaying their work in what looks like a mini art gallery lined along the street.

Halloween & Safety Festival

• At Volunteer Park, there will be carnival rides, family hayrides, costume contests, free Halloween photos, petting zoo, pumpkin patch, puppet show, music and more.

Monster Splash: A Halloween Celebration

• The family-friendly event at Miami Seaquarium features a pumpkin patch, create-a-scarecrow-zone and dance party, plus face painting, inflatables and rides.

Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival

• There will be a pumpkin patch and full size carnival with unlimited rides, hay and cornstalk maze, a dress-your-own-scarecrow village and shows on the main stage at Regatta Park.

Boynton Beach Haunted Pirate Fest and Mermaid Splash

Kitetoberfest Kite Festival

Philanthropy

Making Strides of South Palm Beach

• More than 20,000 local breast cancer survivors, caregivers and community members are uniting at the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 3K walk. This noncompetitive, inspirational event raises awareness and funds for a world without breast cancer.
