The Gramercy in Coral Gables Introduces Pan-Asian Pop-Up

It will feature sushi, flavorful robata and wok dishes, and an array of Asian fusion plates available for a limited time only.

The newly opened Chopsticks Optional, an Asian-fusion pop-up restaurant at The Gramercy in Coral Gables, boasts a delectable menu that includes Peanut Butter Dumplings made of silky pork dumplings served in a luscious sauce of peanut butter, garlic, sesame oil, and scallions, and Blistered Shishito Peppers, Emperor Bao Buns, Bang Bang Shrimp, Hamachi Butterfly Tiradito and Truffle Kissed Salmon. The sushi menu features The Gram Sensation roll, a highlight of the innovative menu, made with salmon and avocado with pineapple marmalade, lime zest, chives, and raspberry pearl. Guests can also choose from various other sushi rolls, such as the Majesty Roll, Gables Roll, Tempura Dynasty Roll, and the Firecracker Roll.

Dishes cooked on a Robata grill using hot charcoal include Chicken Yakitori Skewers, Yuzu-Glazed Salmon, and Branzino Deluxe. The 14oz Miso Marinated Ribeye is a standout dish, marinated with miso, garlic, and ginger and served with creamy mashed potatoes. The Wok menu features favorites such as General Tso’s Chicken, Duck Fried Rice, and Sesame Garlic Noodles paired with sides like Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Grilled Asparagus, and Crispy Fries with Truffle. All of these dishes can be enjoyed in the visually stunning dining room.

Guests can also enjoy expertly crafted cocktails such as the Tokyo Blaze Margarita, which features Cincoro Blanco Tequila, Ghost Pepper, Sriracha, Lime Infused Rep, Lime, and Agave with a Pink Peppercorn Rim, and the Lychee Love Potion, made with Absolut Vanilla, Chinola Passion Fruit Liqueur, Lychee Puree and Pineapple Juice.

The Gramercy hosts “Tokyo Nights” every Saturday, which offers a delightful experience of The Gramercy’s Asian-Fusion menu. The event also features inspired entertainment, a dragon show, and contemporary decor, providing a perfect backdrop for taking photos and enjoying the ambiance.

The Gramercy is located at 65 Miracle Mile in Coral Gables. The restaurant is open on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., Thursday from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m., Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.
