Spring theater at Levis JCC Sandler Center

The West Boca Theatre Company at the Adolph & Rose Levis JCC Sandler Center continues its Courtyard Series this month with two shows.

The shows, performed at the center’s Greenberg Courtyard, are perfect escapes for those seeking socially distanced and safe theater excursions.

“Even with a limited capacity, performing live has been a huge inspiration to both our performers and our audience,” said Alan Nash, producer of West Boca Theatre Company.  “It may have taken a pandemic to force us to expand our creativity as it relates to space, but we see The Courtyard Series continuing to blossom and expand our live performance offerings.”

Below is the description of the two shows on the spring schedule.

Love Letters by A.R. Gurney
Now through March 14 at 7 p.m.
The play tells the story about wealthy childhood friends who maintain a lifelong friendship and emotional closeness through letters over the years.

Jewish Broadway Cabaret
March 24 & 25, 7 p.m.
Musician Ari Axelrod performs the songs and tells stories of Jewish composers’ contributions to the American musical, including such notables as Irving Berlin, Leonard Bernstein, and Carole King.

Tickets are $20. Click here to order. Click here to learn more about membership or contact Stephanie Owitz at 561-558-2520. Learn more about Levis JCC Sandler Center’s cultural offerings by clicking here.
