The Salah Foundation Broward Health Ball

THE EVENT  Broward Health Foundation’s Annual Black Tie Ball is an event that benefits the entire healthcare system. Proceeds will be directed to specific projects and initiatives at Broward Health Medical Center, Broward Health North, Broward Health Imperial Point, Broward Health Coral Springs and Chris Evert Children’s Hospital. This year’s diamond inspired theme is “Philanthropy Rocks” and will feature cocktails, dinner, dancing and live and silent auctions.  Honorary Chairs are professional quarterback Ryan Tannehill and his wife Lauren, and professional punter Brandon Fields and his wife Katie. Event chair is Bob Birdsong. Auction items will feature trips, restaurant dining packages and jewelry from Levinson’s Jewelers. Proceeds from the live auction paddle bid will be directed to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Chris Evert Children’s Hospital. The elegant underwriter’s party for all sponsors will be held on April 24 at Alpine Jaguar in Fort Lauderdale.

THE CAUSE  As the fundraising arm of Broward Health, one of the ten largest public healthcare systems in the nation, the mission of the Broward Health Foundation is to improve the health of the community by providing resources to promote, support and enhance the programs and initiatives of Broward Health. The success of this year’s Ball will specifically impact our cancer, surgical, women’s and children’s initiatives for all those we serve in our community.
