NOE Sushi Bar Debuts in South Miami

The 3,000-square-foot space is chic, sophisticated and welcoming.

With 20 years of success in nearly three dozen acclaimed locations throughout Ecuador, Chef Carmona has unveiled the first U.S. location of NOE Sushi Bar in South Miami. The brand’s first stateside location is now open at 5958 South Dixie Highway in the former Mi’talia space. Over the past two decades, NOE Sushi Bar, named after its talented and culinarily daring chef/co-owner Noe Carmona, has maintained a well-earned reputation as a temple of Japanese and Latin American gastronomy at its finest. Offering more than fusion and not Nikkei, a dining experience at NOE Sushi Bar takes diners on a transportive journey, combining provocative flavors, textures and techniques for a wholly unique experience.

The menu offers a wide variety of options, spanning different categories such as cold and hot starters, ramen, traditional and special rolls, meat and seafood main dishes, and rice/noodles. It features a mix of NOE signature dishes and exclusive creations by Chef Carmona that are unique to The 305. Signature Sushi selections consist of Makano, a delectable blend of maqueño (Ecuadorian banana), nori, octopus, crab, and sesame sauce, as well as Iku Sake – salmon wrapped in nori, topped with ikura and “lemon supreme.”

NOE sushi bar offers seating for 140 guests, with a patio and a stylish dining room featuring a newly installed sushi bar. It is designed to enhance Chef Noe’s culinary creativity.

The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner from Noon to 10 p.m., with plenty of street parking available. Telephone: (305) 306-3708; www.noesushimiami.com.
