Miami Shines

On heels of announcing an expanded version of its Miami Spice restaurant program, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) has launched the recovery phase of its Miami Shines promotional initiative, a more comprehensive platform to spotlight the local hospitality industry. Miami Shines encompasses promotional incentives for hotels, museums, spas and attractions throughout Greater Miami and the beaches, as well as the Miami Spice restaurant deals.

“Our number one priority at the GMCVB is to responsibly drive demand to our partners in Greater Miami’s tourism industry,” said William D. Talbert III, CDME, President & CEO of the GMCVB. “The Miami Shines program helps create and keep jobs, and helps the local economy recover now that beaches, hotels and the hospitality industry are open once again.”

Among the hotel deals connected to Miami Shines:

• Florida Resident Rate (20% off) at Residence Inn by Marriott Miami Aventura Mall. Rate includes complimentary breakfast buffet and Wi-Fi.

• Preferred Family Package at The Palms Hotel & Spa (South Beach); uip to 20% “Best Flexible Rate” rooms and kids under 12 eat free at Essensia Restaurant (July 1 through Dec 31).
