THE EVENT  Many Cultures, One People is a first of its kind, family-oriented concert bringing distinctive varieties of music and performances from many cultures into one venue. The event includes Women in Jazz – featuring Joan Cartwright, Fushu Daiko Japanese Taiko Drummers, Silver Stars USA Steel Orchestra, Simon Salz Klezmer Band, Nritya Surabhi Indian Dance School and more. This eclectic gathering of local talent was created to celebrate the richness and diversity of life in South Florida. Children of all ages, as well as their parents, will be able to enjoy the wide variety of entertainment.

THE CAUSE  Proceeds from the event will benefit JFS of Broward County.  JFS is changing lives every day – offering hope, dignity and a helping hand to families and individuals in our community regardless of race, religion, ethnic background for sexual orientation. JFS provides a continuum of care for all ages, including counseling, senior services, emergency financial assistance, domestic abuse support and more. Serving more than 25,000 annually, JFS also offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities for those who want to give back. JFS is proud to be Broward County’s Lifeline for a Lifetime.
