Let’s Make a Deal

Summer in Broward couldn’t be sweeter—and more affordable—thanks to Visit Lauderdale. The marketing organization for Greater Fort Lauderdale is encouraging visitors and residents to explore and save with LauderDeals that span the county’s 31 neighborhoods. The discounted offers include hotels, attractions, and—starting in August—restaurants and spas.

“We invite visitors to indulge in a much-deserved getaway and local residents to vacation in their own backyard, where they can relax and recharge while taking advantage of LauderDeals savings,” says Stacy Ritter, CEO and president of Visit Lauderdale. “This is a great time to enjoy a hotel stay and pair it with culture-rich experiences, fun family attractions, incredible dining options and some pampering, all at a discount.”

On the resort front, expect everything from discounted room rates to waived fees; for local attractions, deals include two-for-one admissions. There also are specials specifically for Florida residents, first responders and military personnel.

Among the hotel and attraction deals:

  • Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach: $150 spa credit included in your stay and 20 percent off treatments.
  • W Fort Lauderdale: Room upgrade at booking; daily $25 food and beverage credit; waived resort fee; free valet parking.
  • Plunge Beach Resort: Book a four-night stay and get the fourth night free.
  • Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach: Book a five-night stay and get the fifth night free; plus $100 resort credit.
  • Flamingo Gardens & Butterfly World: Two-for-one regular priced admission.
  • Bonnet House Museum and Gardens: Two-for-one admission to guided tour of the house and self-guided tour of the grounds.
  • Sunrise Paddleboards: $75 off on a jet ski tour.
  • Sawgrass Recreation Park: 50% off general admission tickets for an Airboat Eco Adventure.

Next month, Dine Out Lauderdale presents prix-fixe menus priced at $35 and $45 at participating restaurants, and Spa Days boasts treatments at resorts and day spas starting at $99. Visit sunny.org/lauderdeals to review all the discounted specials. LauderDeals run through Sept. 30.
