A Lifestyle event at Metropica featured an in-depth look at the South Florida housing market

The latest installment of Lifestyle Connect drew more than 200 attendees to Sunrise for a wide-ranging panel discussion about the residential housing market with some of the region’s top real estate professionals. The sales gallery for Metropica, the luxury master planned community under construction near Sawgrass Mills, hosted the event.

Michelle Simon, publisher at New Lifestyle Club, kicked off the festivities by introducing sponsors Roy Oppenheim and Ellen Pilelsky, co-founders and senior partners of Oppenheim Law and Weston Title & Escrow; Mark Sturman, a South Florida franchisee with Massage Envy; and Kara Lundgren with Circ Hotel and Leslie Register with Circ Residences in Hollywood.

Kevin Kaminski, group editor of Lifestyle, then emceed a Q&A session that included five of South Florida’s standout real estate experts. The panel featured: Paula Silberberg, an award-winning luxury real estate professional who serves as managing broker for Douglas Elliman’s Fort Lauderdale offices; Rose and Dean Sklar of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, recognized as the top sales associates in Weston for 10 years running; Josh Dotoli, whose namesake Luxury Homes Group under the One Sotheby’s banner has offices from Boca Raton to Miami; and Seth Kaufman, who oversees 200 agents across four South Florida offices as managing broker for One Sotheby’s. The panelists answered questions about everything from real estate trends in 2018 to where buyers can find affordable housing in the tri-county area.

The Lifestyle Connect series is an exclusive, invitation-only event that brings together top professionals and business owners throughout the year to meet, mingle and talk among their peers. Partnering with Lifestyle provides a forum for local businesspeople to network and increase brand awareness.
