Great South Florida Escapes: Staycations, Part 4

Luxury resorts throughout South Florida are offering summer getaway specials.

Trump International Beach Resort

Address: 18001 Collins Ave., Sunny Isles Beach

Wow Factor: Rejuvenation is in the air at the resort, especially for guests who book the Suite Spa Moments package. The deal (good through Oct. 31) includes 20-percent off suite accommodations as well as a $100 credit at Aquanox Spa. The award-winning full-service spa offers an array of facial treatments and massage therapies. Among the former, Beauty from the Sea features an invigorating five-phase seaweed facial. On the massage front, the Basalt Stone Healing Session incorporates the warm stones to melt away stresses and stimulate energy flow.

Isn’t That Special: The Summer Starts Now promotion allows guests to save 30 percent on stays through the summer, plus there’s a $25 resort credit for use at Azzurro’s restaurant, Gili’s Beach Club & Pool Bar or room service. There also is a Hometown Heroes special for health-care workers, first responders, law enforcement and firefighters.

The Gabriel

A separate lap pool, tucked in between buildings, overlooks the Intracoastal, Biscayne Bay and Port Miami. There’s also complimentary shuttle services to The Gabriel’s sister resort on South Beach—as well as beach access and two lounge chairs.

Isn’t That Special: The Bar & Binge package includes a daily $50 food and beverage credit, room upgrade (based on availability) and a 1 p.m. checkout. The Gabriel also offers Florida resident and welcome back deals for returning travelers. If you shuttle over to the South Beach property, make sure to check out the glass-bottom rooftop pool.

Bungalows Key Largo

Address: 99010 Overseas Highway, Key Largo

In addition, guests can book a variety of aquatic adventures. Largo Larry’s half-day snorkel (weather-pending) stops at locations including Christ of the Abyss at Florida Barrier Reef.
