Feeding South Florida Hosts Annual Outrun Hunger 5K

The fundraiser will take place at Charnow Beachfront Park in Hollywood on April 6.

With over 1.2 million food-insecure individuals in South Florida, Feeding South Florida is set to host its 13th Annual Outrun Hunger 5K on April 6, inviting runners, walkers, families and community leaders of all ages to come together and raise funds and awareness for ending hunger in South Florida. The event will take place at the scenic Charnow Beachfront Park, providing participants with a picturesque view of the ocean while they take steps toward helping one in nine South Florida individuals who are uncertain about where they will get their next meal.

Registration is open to all four counties that Feeding South Florida serves, including Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe at Feedingsouthflorida.org/5khollywood. Participants can join the event as an individual or a team. Those not participating in the race may also support the organization by creating a personalized fundraising page by visiting Feedingsouthflorida.org/5khollywood. Event sponsorships and in-kind donations are also available. For more information, contact Allyson Vaulx at 954-518-1818 x 1852 or
