Early Builders

It was 60 years ago when Marvin Hollub built his first home in what is now the Village of Pinecrest. Back then (1954), the home sold for $19,000, when acre lots were approximately $4,000. Today full acre lots start at closer to $1 million, regardless of the structure.

Marvin still comes to the Hollub Homes office on Red Road, where the business is carried on by son Harry and daughter Helene. Still dedicated to quality custom homes, Hollub Homes recently won Best of Show at the PRISM awards by the Florida Atlantic Builder’s Association. They also picked up another 8 awards, including best Media/Theater Room, a category that simply wasn’t on the drawing board back in the day.
