Community Campaign Celebration

THE EVENT  The annual Community Campaign Celebration (CCC) recognizes and thanks donors of the Jewish Federation of Broward County who make an annual gift of $1,000 or more.

This year’s event features Jerry Greenfield, co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s Homemade. Greenfield helped build a store-front venture into a $300 million ice cream empire by making social responsibility and creative management strengths, rather than weaknesses.

This year’s event chairs are Aimee LeWinter of Cooper City, Gary Marks of Hollywood and Amy Siskind of Weston.  Guests will enjoy a variety of lavish hors d’oeuvres, delicious desserts and, of course, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.

THE CAUSE  The Jewish Federation of Broward County joins the human and financial resources of our community to save and improve Jewish lives in Broward County, Israel and globally.  The Federation works with a network of beneficiary agencies to safeguard and address local educational and social service needs; perpetuate Jewish traditions and heritage; and ensure the continuity and survival of Israel, and Jewish communities around the world.

TICKETS  The event is $85 per person. In addition, a $1,000 minimum household gift to the federation’s 2013 annual campaign is required to attend, payable through December 2014. Contact Lauren Rickoff at 954-252-6923 or . Learn more at www.jewishbroward.org.
