CHIP IN FOR KIDS IN DISTRESS

PLANTATION, FL. – Enjoy a day of fun in the sun while you help bridge the gap in supportive services for abused and neglected children in South Florida. Members of the Kids In Distress Auxiliary are pleased to announce they are bringing back their very popular KID Auxiliary Golf Tournament. It will be held on Friday, November 2nd, with registration and pre-tournament box lunch at 11:30 AM and a shotgun start at 1:00 PM, followed by dinner in the Palm Room. The tournament will take place at Jacaranda Golf Club at 9200 West Broward Blvd., in Plantation. Players of all skill levels are welcome to participate in this 18-hole scramble.

Proceeds from the golf tournament will help raise funds for Kids In Distress, which is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to protecting children in South Florida from abuse and neglect. They strive to establish strong and healthy families that can care for their children and keep them safe.

Today’s economy is making it difficult for more and more families to survive day to day.   Members of the community will be supporting these efforts when they participate in the KID Auxiliary Golf Tournament. With your help, local families will strengthen and get on their feet again. The individual player fee of $175 includes greens fees, cart, pre-tournament box lunch, dinner and prizes. For $40, non-golfers will be able to purchase tickets in advance for the dinner. In addition to participating as a golfer, there are also sponsorship opportunities that range from Title ($5,000) to Tee Sponsor ($200).

This is a wonderful opportunity for the South Florida community to enjoy an afternoon of golf and great meals while supporting a growing population of abused and neglected children. By taking part in the tournament, participants are both helping Kids In Distress and networking with business associates.

On behalf of the children we serve, we thank you for your gift! Without the support of individual donors and corporate partners in our community, Kids In Distress could never care for the thousands of children and families each year who need a safe place to live. Change a child’s life….change a child’s future.
