The Rose Miniaci Arts Education Center at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts will host an Open House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26. The free and open event will allow guests the chance to take a tour of the facilities, observe or participate in a class, meet the center’s talented teaching artists, win prizes, and even register to win a free fall class. There will also be activities for the whole family and light refreshments.
The Broward Center offers a variety of singing, dance, improv, and acting classes for individuals of all ages, including those with physical and intellectual disabilities. These classes are designed to foster artistic expression and teach theater skills in a supportive and inclusive environment. Interested individuals can find the open house schedule and class listing at BrowardCenter.org/Classes, and those who register for the first time during the Open House will receive a discount. Classes begin on Sept. 11 and run for ten weeks, with limited class sizes tailored to the appropriate age and skill level. All class fees include complimentary parking, and online registration is required. Those who purchase a second class can also enjoy a 10% discount on any additional course.
