South Florida restaurants go pink

The Special: Beach House Pompano, Brimstone Woodfire Grill and Brimstone Doral feature the pink drink of the month: the Minuty Rose.

The Cause: A portion of the proceeds go toward the American Cancer Society.

The Special: Toro Toro’s famous dessert La Bomba (pictured above) turns pink this month, featuring a pink shell filled with cream cheese mousse, dulce de leche and strawberry ice cream, fresh berries, almond cookie crumble and topped off with caramel, vanilla and berry sauce.

The Cause: The dessert proceeds ($20 for mini size and $35 for regular size) benefit Susan G. Komen.

The Special: Throughout October, Lona features a variety of Pink Drinks, Pink Bubbles and Pink Wine. Cocktails include the Froze,  Susie’s Sangria (Red Wine Frozen Sangria) and Tequila for the Ta Tas (classic Margarita with a Pinot Noir floater).

The Cause: Half the proceeds of these drinks will be donated to Susan G. Komen

The Special: B Ocean Resort’s B Cause initiative presents its #BPink campaign. Through Oct. 31, the resort offers two signature pink cocktails: the Pink Coconut Lemonade and the Pink Jolly Rancher (pictured).

The Special: Tarpon River Brewing promises a new and improved Pink Slip beer, a Wit beer made with real strawberries and hibiscus has a pink hue and refreshingly fruity flavor.

The Cause: Twenty percent of the proceeds go to Real Men Drink Pink, an organization benefiting the American Cancer Society.
